: Rodarte – Pitti Filati :

who doesn’t like the charm of Florence? this place is full of endless inspirations for designers, writers, poets… this time is Rodarte getting the inspired and created these modern romantic grunge pieces.

eyes caught easily by Rodarte’s neon-light installation showcasing ten gowns at Pitti Filati trade show (always worth going for the experience) in Florence – Kate and Laura Mulleavy were inspired by Fra Angelico’s frescoes and the monks’ cells at the Convent of San Marco in Florence, and Bernini’s The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa in Rome. Says Kate: “Laura and I have been deeply inspired by Florence and its artistic legacy. We have spent countless hours dreaming of the poetic city, every detail magnified by our own curiosity and imagination.”
